BSVI Hero Splendor Plus
Hero Motocorp has launched the BS-VI Hero Splendor+ in three variants priced at INR 59,600 (kick-start with alloy wheels), INR 61,900 (self-start with alloy wheels) and INR 63,110 (self-start with alloy wheels and i3S) in India. The Hero Splendor+ retains the nearly three-decade-old Honda-developed 97.2 cc engine but now it comes fitted with fuel injection instead of a carburetor. The BSVI Splendor Plus makes 7.9 hp at 8,000rpm and 8.05 Nm at 6,000rpm which is slightly lower than the BSIV model.
Braking on the BSVI Splendor+ are carried out by drum brakes, which are assisted by an Integrated Braking System. The range-topping variant’s i3S technology helps in saving fuel by switching off the engine during stop and go traffic. The BSVI Splendor+ gets a new Solid Black paint scheme that is available in a combination of Purple, Grey, Red and three palette combination of Red-Black-Purple along with Ebony Grey paintwork with Green Finish.
